As Equipment Design Responsible, you will be the technical authority for airborne equipment throughout its entire lifecycle, for various weapon systems. You will transform operational and system-level needs into robust, certifiable equipment solutions, working closely with international suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will ensure that equipment designs meet demanding performance, qualification, and certification requirements while supporting integration, testing and in-service operations.
(Master) Degree in electronics/electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
At least 3‑5 years of professional experience.
Strong technical background in electronic equipment development: embedded electronics (Microcontrollers, FPGAs, ASICs,…), mission computers, high‑speed digital interfaces, video or data processing systems, real‑time embedded architecture,…
Knowledge and practical expertise with airborne equipment:
Ability to technically assess supplier solutions and support problem‑solving activities during development.
Experience in technical supplier management is a plus.
Experience in requirements engineering and requirements management tools (DOORs) is a plus.
Comfortable taking ownership and making technical decisions.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with suppliers, customers and authorities in an international environment.
Teamplayer and comfortable in international and multidisciplinary engineering environment: demonstrated skill to work independently and in a collaboratively manner within an international team, including the ability to coordinate and influence people.
Business‑fluent English; German is a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally to supplier facilities and customer sites when required.
