This role involves managing the expansion and maintenance of a massive global network infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to execute hardware deployments and optimize operational processes.

What you'll do

• Provision, monitor, and maintain hardware and network systems in new data centers.
• Perform remote server administration using BMC/IPMI tools for firmware updates and troubleshooting.
• Execute network configurations for greenfield deployments and brownfield migrations.
• Manage remote contractors for rack and stack installations and coordinate with logistics and ISP partners across 700+ locations.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and utilize Changie to reduce administrative toil.
• Build agentic AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
• Plan facility requirements including power, cooling, and cable management.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and contractors.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Coordinate cross-connect installations and standardize processes across regions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations, SRE, Linux Administration, Network Engineering, or DevOps.
• Proficiency in optical transport technologies such as DWDM/CWDM.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Saltstack.
• Knowledge of enterprise network protocols, topologies, and design documentation.
• Experience with remote out-of-band management and server provisioning.
• Ability to write Python or Bash scripts for task automation.
• Experience building or working with agentic AI tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage operational processes in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS.
• Experience with DCIM tools and infrastructure project management.
• Knowledge of BGP and anycast routing.
• Proficiency with network OS including Juniper Junos, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Arista EOS, SONiC, Ciena, or Nokia.
• Experience using JIRA for project tracking and scheduling.
• Professional certifications such as JNCIP, CCNP, or Linux‑specific credentials.
• Experience working in 24/7/365 mission‑critical environments.
