Nurse, Doctor, or Healthcare Professional - Elderly Care

This opportunity in Hannover is open to nurses, doctors, and healthcare professionals living outside and inside Germany who want to build a career in the German long-term care and nursing (Pflege) sector. A care home is accepting applications from qualified international candidates, including those whose qualifications have not yet been officially recognised (subject to individual assessment). Applicants must have German at B1 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care and support to residents.
• Assisting residents with their personal and everyday needs.
• Monitoring residents' health and reporting any noticeable changes.
• Working closely with doctors, nurses, and the wider care team.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care activities and observations.
• Following hygiene, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Treating elderly residents with respect, patience, dignity, and professionalism.
• Providing emotional and social support to residents.
• Following the care home's policies, procedures, and applicable German regulations.

Must Have

• Qualification or experience in nursing, medicine, or healthcare.
• German language certificate at B1 minimum.
• Willingness to work in the Pflege (long-term care) sector.
• CV, professional/academic qualifications, and employment certificates (if available).
