Omni Demand Generation Marketing Team Lead (f/m/d)

Omni Demand Generation (ODG) Marketing Team Lead leads the team responsible for the demand generation model for the North Europe Hub (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). The role bridges the gap between regional brand strategy and local market execution and owns the Hub Brand Experience Plan (BEP). This position reports to the ODG Director of the North Europe Hub.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Experience Planning (BEP) ownership: lead planning, execution, and optimisation of Brand Experiences within the cluster to drive brand purchase and advocacy, ensuring activation plans are rooted in "Moments that Matter" in the pet parent journey.
  • Integrated Commercial Planning: develop and manage a synchronized commercial calendar that aligns brand activities with commercial execution.
  • Performance & Measurement: partner with ODG Analytics to develop business performance and monthly discipline tracking and key driver analysis.
  • Competitive intelligence: oversee competitive intelligence tracking and implementation of competitive-response plans.
  • Shopper marketing: develop shopper strategies and materials to drive demand across the cluster, oversee creation and deployment of omnichannel point-of-purchase assets.
  • Insights to unlock growth: conduct in-depth analysis of competitive landscape and category developments to identify actionable insights that drive measurable growth.
  • Content strategy & localisation: partner with IBE/Media team to develop a localized content strategy rooted in the BEP including local and cultural overlays.
  • Performance management: co-manage cluster P&L and drive monthly discipline through brand performance reviews and MoDi analytics.
  • Commercial capability & enablement: develop 7P strategies, including pricing strategy, and provide detailing and customer materials and training for sales teams.

Skills and Competencies

  • Growth mindset: operate in a fluid, cross-commercial environment where budgets are reallocated based on a holistic view of performance.
  • Omnichannel oriented: deep understanding of the shopper journey and "Moments that Matter" across vet, brick & mortar and e-commerce channels.
  • Analytical proficiency: leverage AI-enabled internal and external tools and cross-commercial analytics to optimise commercial plans and resource choices.
  • Strategic syncing: experience working as "One Commercial Team" with marketing, customer development and subject-matter experts to deliver unified brand experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Customer Development or related field.
  • 7+ years of commercial (sales or marketing) experience ideally in global, matrixed organisations.
  • Proven critical thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities, including ability to uncover measurable insights from large datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement strong strategies for business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Consumer Journey Methodology.
  • Strong collaboration skills and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience in brand management, retail marketing or customer development, ideally globally.
  • People management experience, including teams of 3+ people.
  • Pet nutrition or related industry experience.
  • Knowledge of retail environment strategy.
  • Experience with and understanding of the profession as a recommendation and selling channel.
  • Strong tech-fluency and experience using AI-powered tools.
  • Ability to communicate in one of the hub languages.
