Operations Engineer / Linux Administrator (m/f/d)

In this role you will maintain and operate AnyDesk’s business infrastructure, with a focus on Linux-based systems, networking, and automation. You will ensure high availability across hardware, virtual systems, and services, while implementing security, monitoring, and disaster recovery. You’ll contribute to the rollout of new products and systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors to support a 200+ server estate. This position combines hands-on ops work with cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, international environment.

• Maintain hardware, virtual systems, network and OS-related issues across the infrastructure
• Set up servers and websites; implement security measures
• Manage domain registration, certificates, and related security tasks
• Implement service mirroring, failover scenarios and monitor service status
• Participate in deployment of new products and systems
• Troubleshoot issues on demand
• Source and manage vendors to support infrastructure needs
• Manage 200+ servers infrastructure

• Strong Linux administration skills, specifically Debian-based systems
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash or Python)
• Knowledge of at least one RDBMS (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and related admin tasks (backup/recovery, performance tuning, schema design)
• Excellent written and spoken English (German a plus)
• Strong communication, sense of urgency, and ability to work well with others
