Operations Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Role

As an Operations Specialist, you will become part of our Operations team and work across People, Finance and Strategy. You will help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly while gaining broad exposure to different areas of a growing technology company. This is a great opportunity if you are at the beginning of your career, enjoy bringing structure into everyday work and want to take on responsibility in a dynamic environment. You will start by owning important operational and administrative processes and gradually take on more responsibility for your own topics and projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Support our day-to-day office operations and ensure that organizational and administrative processes run smoothly
Coordinate meetings, business travel and internal and external events, including preparation and follow-up
Maintain company data, documents and records and support our contract management.
Support our Finance activities, including preparatory accounting and the organization of relevant documentation.
Support our People processes, from recruiting administration and training coordination to preparing employee documents.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees and help create a smooth and welcoming start at driveblocks
Prepare presentations and other business materials for internal and external use
Support projects across Operations and collaborate with different teams throughout the company
Take ownership of recurring operational tasks and help us continuously improve the way we work

Your Background

You don't need years of professional experience to make an impact in this role. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting things organized, takes responsibility and is eager to learn.

You have completed a commercial vocational training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a comparable field
You are at the beginning of your career or have gained first professional experience in an administrative, operational or commercial role
You work in a structured, reliable and detail-oriented way and are comfortable managing several topics at the same time
You have a hands-on mindset and proactively take care of things rather than waiting for someone to tell you what to do
You communicate confidently and professionally in both German and English
You have very good time and self-management skills and can prioritize your work independently
You are confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
You enjoy working with different people and functions and are curious to learn more about People, Finance, Strategy and business operations
Most importantly, you are motivated to learn, take ownership and grow with us
