Operations Technician

We offer you the opportunity to gain in-depth expertise by processing the reinsurance portfolio from the policy to the financial processing of premiums and claims, as well as the associated reporting. Responsibilities

• Efficient and accurate booking of reinsurance settlements, monitoring of incoming payment transactions, correspondence, and execution of the first step of the dunning process.
• Regular reporting and close cooperation with the responsible underwriter and the claims team.
• Entry and maintenance of contract data in our policy administration system.
• Cooperation with colleagues in other locations (London, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Amsterdam).

Skills and Experience

• Successful completion of a commercial vocational training or business degree (Bachelor) preferably with a focus on accounting, finance, insurance or completed commercial training, preferably also with initial professional experience in Reinsurance.
• Fluent written and spoken English & German, other languages desirable.
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with a very good understanding of data and figures.
• Strong initiative and willingness to work on your own initiative.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure successful collaboration.
