Order Manager (f/m/d)

Snapshot of Your Day

As an Order Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end execution of customer orders—from order intake to final delivery. You control timelines, costs, contractual requirements, and maintain full process transparency in SAP. You act as the key contact for customers on order status and coordinate closely with internal and international stakeholders to ensure smooth execution across all interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end order execution from intake to delivery
  • Schedule, cost, and milestone monitoring and control
  • Contract management, ensuring compliance with terms and specifications
  • Risk management, including identification and mitigation of project and supply chain risks
  • Customer communication as primary contact for order status inquiries
  • Documentation and reporting, including system maintenance in SAP

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic background in business, engineering, or related field
  • Several years of experience in order management or project management, preferably in the energy or industrial sector
  • Technical knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP and supply chain management
  • Strong organizational, communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with high customer orientation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in German and English
