Order Manager (m/f/d)

In this role you will coordinate end-to-end order-to-cash activities for both commercial and technical customer orders. You will act as the primary interface among Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance and Sales Operations to ensure timely, accurate order execution in SAP. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance and risk management, and maintain high-quality order processing in an international setting. You will work on complex, project-based orders and contribute to accurate forecasting and data integrity, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and customer success.

• Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash for commercial and technical customer orders in SAP
• Oversee commercial contract execution (pricing, payment terms, export compliance)
• Serve as main customer contact throughout the order lifecycle
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Finance, Logistics, and Engineering
• Ensure accurate invoicing, payment tracking, and credit limit monitoring
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure policy compliance
• Maintain and monitor order, project, and revenue data for reporting and forecasting
• Validate technical order data (configuration, BOM, engineering alignment)
• Ensure high data quality and consistency in SAP
• Handle escalations related to order processing issues
• Communicate order status and risks to stakeholders
• Support complex projects with Technical Order Managers

• Experience in order management, O2C processes, or project execution in an international environment
• Strong understanding of commercial and technical order workflows
• Hands-on SAP experience (PS, SD, FI/CO, MM) and financial processes (contracts, invoicing)
• Ability to manage complex orders or project-based business
• Technical understanding or experience working with engineering teams is a plus
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant degree (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain)
• Fluent in English and German
