Outdoor Service & Training Technician – Terrace Coverings & Sun Protection

Conduct service and maintenance assignments for terrace coverings, louvered roofs, and outdoor-living solutions at specialist partner and end-customer sites
Provide on-site, telephone, and digital technical support, including troubleshooting and fault analysis
Assist with installations and support complex technical projects
Deliver product training, installation training, and technical workshops for specialist partners and internal teams
Share technical expertise and best practices relating to installation, commissioning, and service
Create and continuously improve training materials and technical documentation
Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Technical Support to optimize processes and service quality
Support the retention and development of long-term partner relationships through professional customer care and a strong service orientation
Analyze complaints and develop sustainable solutions
Monitor market and product developments and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders
Act as the face of the brand on site by training specialist partners, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring the highest standards for premium terrace coverings and sun-protection systems

Requirements

Several years of professional experience as a Service Technician, Applications Technician, and/or Technical Trainer—ideally in outdoor living, building components, sun protection, window and façade construction, or related industries
Strong technical knowledge of the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of products requiring technical explanation
Experience delivering technical training, instruction, or workshops for specialist partners, installers, or customers
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a passion for conveying knowledge in a practical, accessible way
Strong service and solution orientation combined with a professional customer-facing manner
Independent, structured, and conscientious working style, along with a high degree of initiative
Experience working with demanding B2B partners and within international structures is an advantage
High willingness to travel for assignments and training throughout the sales territory (4 days of travel per week + 1 office day)
Confident use of digital tools and technical documentation
Reports to the Head of Service
Very good German and good English, both written and spoken
Ideally, experience establishing service and training standards and optimizing technical processes
Senior-level mindset: confident presence, strong technical expertise, and the ability to act as a point of contact and sparring partner for both customers and colleagues
