Job Summary The Parts Manager is responsible for the operational excellence and supply chain efficiency of the aftermarket parts business across the region. Accountable for optimizing the multi-echelon inventory network, ensuring high parts availability (>95% fill rate), and strict working capital control to support the frontline Service and PSSR teams.


The manager ensures parts availability drives customer uptime and contributes significantly to the overall service revenue and customer loyalty.


Key Responsibilitie



  • sCapital & Inventory Strategy Executio

  • nImplement the differentiated inventory strategy, managing the Initial Provisioning (IP) safety stock for new product introductions without turnover constraints

  • .Seamlessly transitioning to a strict working capital cap (e.g., <5% of machine sales) once the equipment population reaches maturity (e.g., >200 units)

  • .Supply Chain & Inventory Managemen

  • tLead the Sales & Operations Planning process for parts, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, inventory replenishment, and optimal stock levels across the Central Distribution Center and local warehouses

  • .Oversee all inventory management KPIs (e.g., turnover rate, obsolescence, fill rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • .Manage and optimize the Three-Tier Parts Distribution Network: the Central Distribution Center (Tier 1), the local Hub Warehouses (Tier 2), and the dynamic Pool Fleet/Service Vans (Tier 3). Ensure precise system tracking and replenishment for fast-moving critical parts within the Tier 3 mobile inventory to support the 12-hour VIP SLA

  • tFlawless Order Fulfillment: Support the frontline Service Representatives (PSSR) by executing a seamless order-to-cash process. Act as the backend escalation point for complex dealer parts inquiries, backorder resolution, and emergency VIP parts routing

  • .Oversee warehouse management, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

  • pChampions the implementation of digital tools (e.g., inventory visibility platforms, e-commerce portals) to improve dealer self-service and operational efficiency

  • .Build, lead, and develop a high-performing European parts team, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous learning

  • .Serve as the key liaison between European operations and HQ parts/supply chain functions, ensuring strategy alignment and effective communication


Qualifications & Requiremen

  • onBachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plu

  • ceMinimum of 8 years of progressive experience in parts management, supply chain, or after-sales within the construction machinery, heavy equipment, or automotive industr

  • y.At least 5 years in a managerial role leading teams, with proven P&L or significant budgetary responsibilit

  • y.Demonstrated experience in managing a multi-country supply chain or distribution network in Europe is essentia

  • esExpert knowledge of inventory management principles, demand forecasting, and international logistic
