People & Organisation Development Partner – Construction, Design & Engineering

Our Client is seeking an experienced People & Organisation Development Partner to help shape scalable people, organisational, and management processes during an exciting business transformation. Roles/Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop practical people and organisational strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and implement scalable people processes, including onboarding, performance management, employee development, role clarity, and internal communication.
  • Build workforce planning processes that provide visibility into capacity, workload, skills gaps, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain external freelancer and specialist partner networks to support changing business needs.
  • Support career development planning, succession initiatives, mentoring opportunities, and employee growth discussions.
  • Help establish practical KPI frameworks and performance review processes that promote accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Produce clear people and organisational reports covering workforce capacity, development progress, staffing risks, and implementation milestones.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on organisational development, change management, and people‑related matters.
  • Support organisational change by improving communication, resolving workplace challenges, and strengthening collaboration across teams.
  • Coordinate with external HR, legal, payroll, and compliance advisors where specialist support is required while maintaining accurate people documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in People & Organisation Development, HR Business Partnering, People Operations, organisational transformation, or a similar role.
  • Experience building people processes and organisational frameworks within evolving or fast‑changing business environments.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Analytical and structured approach with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Experience within engineering, technical services, manufacturing, project‑based organisations, or similar environments is highly desirable.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
  • High levels of integrity, resilience, professionalism, and sound judgment.
