Performance Specialist (f/m/d)

In this role you will drive continuous improvement on the shop floor to enhance equipment and process performance within a Production Unit. You will lead Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives (FOX, AM/PM, Smart Factory) to identify opportunities and implement measures that raise performance. You will support KPI tracking, PDCA-based action plans, and the adoption of best practices across production teams. This is a hands-on role that shapes efficiency, stability, and long-term performance in a global sweets operation.

• Analyze equipment and process losses to boost Production Unit performance
• Facilitate and follow up on FOX workshops and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Implement and advance Lean methodologies and Operational Excellence standards
• Monitor action plans using PDCA for sustainable implementation
• Support deployment of Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance (AM/PM) practices
• Contribute to KPI analysis (OEE and OAE) and improvement
• Support leaders and teams in fostering a Continuous Improvement culture
• Collaborate with the Production Unit to enhance efficiency, stability, and productivity

• University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Systems Engineering or comparable field
• First professional experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Lean Management
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, SMED) or similar approaches
• Interest in production systems, performance management and digitalization
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• High initiative, ownership and accountability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
