Das Institut für Management und Controlling (IMC) der WHU ist ein führender Think Tank im Bereich Controlling und Unternehmenssteuerung. Unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Dr. Marko Reimer und Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer bündelt das Institut die zahlreichen Forschungs-, Lehr- und Praxisaktivitäten der beteiligten Hochschullehrer, Mitarbeiter und Doktoranden.

Die Stelle ist zunächst auf ein Jahr befristet, kann anschließend jedoch verlängert oder entfristet werden.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Sie unterstützen Utz Schäffer als verlässliche und kompetente Assistenz mit Weitblick.
• Sie haben den Überblick über die vielfältigen Aufgaben des Instituts und sind eine zentrale Schnittstelle zu unseren internen und externen Partnern.
• Sie koordinieren das Recruiting von Doktoranden und nicht-wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeitern.

Ihr Profil

• Ein professionelles und sicheres Auftreten mit sehr guten Deutsch- und Englischkenntnissen ist zwingend erforderlich.
• Ausgeprägte analytische und organisatorische Fähigkeiten, gepaart mit einem hohen Maß an Selbstständigkeit und Teamgeist.
• Hohe Eigenmotivation, Flexibilität und Engagement.
• Sehr gute Anwender-Kenntnisse in Microsoft Office 365.

General information

The Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) of WHU is a leading think tank in the area of management accounting and control. Under the joint directorship of Prof. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Marko Reimer and Prof. Utz Schäffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students.

This position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.

Your mission

• You support Utz Schäffer as a reliable and competent assistant with foresight.
• You keep track of the institute’s wide range of activities and serve as a central point of contact for our internal and external partners.
• You coordinate the recruitment of doctoral candidates and non-academic staff.

Your profile

• A professional and confident demeanor with a very good command of German and English is essential.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a high degree of independence and team spirit.
• High level of self-motivation, flexibility and commitment.
• Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
