Pharmaceutical Sales & Business Development (m/f/d) – Europe

Your mission

Join the NAGASE Group as our next Pharmaceutical Business Support (m/f/d) and support the European pharmaceutical market as a central liaison between suppliers and clients.

• Develop and manage relationships with pharmaceutical customers and suppliers across Europe
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Manage sales activities from inquiries and quotations through negotiation, orders and delivery
• Support the sales and sourcing of pharmaceutical raw materials, APIs and excipients
• Coordinate closely with Japanese headquarters and international suppliers
• Monitor market trends and develop new business opportunities
• Coordinate international import/export activities
• Support relevant quality and regulatory requirements, including GMP/GDP

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in Sales / Business Development, preferably in the pharmaceutical, API, excipient, chemical or healthcare industry
• Professional experience with pharmaceutical raw materials, APIs, excipients or related products
• Business-fluent Japanese and English
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills
• Experience working with international customers and suppliers
• Proactive and commercially minded approach
• Experience in international trade and/or import/export
• Understanding of GMP/GDP and pharmaceutical quality requirements
• Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field is preferred

Working location & mobility

• Based in Düsseldorf, with the possibility to work remotely within Germany
• Regular presence at the Düsseldorf office is required
• Willingness to travel and work independently in a global environment
