Platform & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you own and evolve the cloud platform (primarily Azure) and CI/CD tooling to support rapid delivery, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will design scalable infrastructure, automate delivery, and enable engineering teams with self-service capabilities. You’ll partner with security, governance, and FinOps to embed best practices from day one. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role in a fast-growing, open culture.

• Own design, operation, and evolution of the Azure-based cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, identity, governance)
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) and provide reusable modules
• Evolve and automate the CI/CD platform and self-service tooling for developer autonomy
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to improve delivery processes and platform capabilities
• Monitor, maintain, and improve platform reliability, performance, and availability
• Incorporate security controls into platforms and CI/CD processes with the CISO team (Azure security services, policies, benchmarks)
• Optimize infrastructure and deployment platforms for scalability, performance, and cost (FinOps-friendly)
• Build cloud cost monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting with concrete optimization recommendations

• Hands-on Azure experience across compute, networking, storage, identity, governance
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
• CI/CD experience in production (GitLab CI/CD or equivalent)
• Docker and Kubernetes (or Azure ACA/ACI) experience
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Observability skills (monitoring, logging, alerting) and security awareness (IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust, Privileged Access)
• Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS; FinOps awareness
• Azure certifications or related advanced cloud/FinOps experience is a plus
• Fluent English; analytical, ownership-driven, cross-functional communication
• knowledge of serverless architectures or distributed/hybrid systems is a plus
