Platform Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure, AI Platform) (m/f/d)

In this platform-focused role, you design and run the cloud infrastructure that powers AI-enabled solutions at global scale. You will join a cross-functional AI team to implement reliable, automated infrastructure and maintain security and observability. You translate architecture into working infrastructure across Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud services, driving automation to reduce toil. • Operate Kubernetes infrastructure (AKS): cluster lifecycle, networking, resource management, auto-scaling, multi-tenancy
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for testing, builds, and GitOps deployments
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) to provision Azure resources with consistency and auditability
• Manage container registries (ACR), artifact management, and image security workflows
• Implement and maintain observability infrastructure (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana) with dashboards, alerts, and tracing
• Handle async processing infra (Celery, Redis, workflow orchestration) for AI agents
• Apply platform security controls: network policies, pod security standards, Key Vault, RBAC, private endpoints
• Support database infra (PostgreSQL management, backup/recovery, pooling, tuning)
• Create self-service tooling/templates to enable teams with minimal friction
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues; perform root-cause analysis and preventative improvements
• Collaborate with Platform Architects, Backend and ML Engineers to translate designs into reliable infra

• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps
• Strong Kubernetes experience (cluster operations, networking, storage, autoscaling)
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep, or equivalents
• Production Azure cloud experience: AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Monitor, VNets, Private Endpoints, Azure Policy
• Strong CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar GitOps tooling
• Proficiency in Python for automation
• Experience with container security and observability stacks
• Familiarity with async task processing (Celery, Redis)
• Strong Linux systems administration and networking
• Operational mindset with strong troubleshooting across infra layers
