The Multiscale Biology Group of Jan Huisken at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen is a pioneer of light‑sheet microscopy technology and has recently established the Flamingo project of shareable microscopes as an innovative approach to provide a large community of researchers with access to high‑end advanced imaging. The project offers a unique chance to standardize imaging protocols, metadata annotations, image file formats, and (remote) image data processing in collaboration with the NFDI4BioImage consortium. To facilitate highly reliable image data generation and processing with these portable, modular, and customizable microscopes, we are now looking to fill the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioimaging Data Storage and Management (f/m/d).
