Stellenbeschreibung:

At kgs, we are focused on ensuring that critical business information remains secure, compliant, and accessible for decades, independent of the applications that created it. With tia® – the intelligent archive, we provide global enterprises with a lightweight, cloud‑agnostic, AI‑accessible, high‑performance archive that consolidates documents and data from enterprise systems into a trusted, application‑independent information backbone. Designed to be lean and easy to operate, tia® avoids the complexity of traditional Enterprise Content platforms while delivering compliance and reliability at the highest level of professional standards. As organizations modernize their IT landscapes and invest in AI and automation, access to trusted historical data becomes essential. We enable enterprises to preserve and govern information across platforms such as SAP, SharePoint, and other enterprise applications, while unlocking decades of unstructured data for compliance and AI‑driven innovation.

Trusted by leading global enterprises, we are expanding our international footprint and establishing a new US commercial hub in Philadelphia.

To support this growth, we are looking for a Pre‑Sales Consultant who will help enterprise customers understand how kgs can solve critical challenges around compliance, long‑term document governance, and enterprise information accessibility.

The role

As a Pre‑Sales Consultant, you will act as the technical expert supporting the enterprise sales process. You will work closely with the sales team and prospective customers' technical teams to understand complex IT environments, design solution architectures, and demonstrate how tia® can serve as the lightweight archive backbone for compliance, governance, and AI‑ready enterprise data. This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and solution design and offers the opportunity to work with some of the most complex enterprise IT landscapes.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for enterprise sales opportunities and support the full pre‑sales cycle
  • Design solution architectures that position tia® as the lightweight archive backbone for enterprise document governance
  • Deliver technical workshops, architecture discussions, and executive‑level product demonstrations
  • Engage with enterprise architects, IT leadership, and compliance stakeholders
  • Support technical validation processes, including RFP responses, security reviews, and proof‑of‑concepts
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to shape winning technical strategies
  • Contribute to the development of technical best practices, reference architectures, and enablement materials

Your strengths

  • Experience in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or enterprise technical consulting
  • Background in technologies related to enterprise content management, data archiving, compliance, or information governance
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT architectures, cloud environments, and integration concepts
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft SharePoint or other enterprise platforms
  • Ability to communicate technical architectures clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience in working with AI‑agents is preferred
  • Opportunity to join the early US go‑to‑market team and contribute to kgs’ expansion in the North American enterprise market
  • Work on strategic enterprise deals and complex IT architectures at global organizations
  • Influence technical strategy and architecture decisions in enterprise sales engagements
  • Direct collaboration with experienced enterprise sales leaders and product teams
  • International collaboration with teams across Europe and North America
  • Opportunity to help shape technical positioning and solution frameworks for the US market
  • Hybrid working model connected to our Philadelphia office with flexibility for remote work
  • Entrepreneurial environment that rewards technical leadership, initiative, and measurable impact
  • Competitive compensation with performance‑based incentives

Compensation at kgs software varies depending on role responsibilities, experience level, and relevant technical expertise. kgs offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward performance and support long‑term career development. The package includes base salary, benefits, and performance‑based incentives aligned with pre‑sales contributions and enterprise sales success. Total on‑target earnings (OTE) are designed to be competitive within the enterprise software market and reflect the strategic importance of the pre‑sales role in supporting enterprise growth.
