Principal Consultant - ServiceNow

Role Overview

As a Principal ServiceNow Consultant at Devoteam, you will take on a leading role in strategic and complex ServiceNow transformation projects. You will act as lead architect and strategic advisor for our customers, translating business strategies into scalable, secure, and sustainable ServiceNow solutions.

What You Will Do

Your tasks will include leading workshops on requirement acquisition, process definition, reengineering, gap analysis, and solution architecture. You will develop ServiceNow goal architectures, roadmaps, and technical specifications for enterprise-level implementations.

Requirements

• Min. 9 years of experience in the consulting or IT service industry, with at least 5 years of focus on ServiceNow.
• Proven experience in leading large, complex, and multi-modular ServiceNow implementations.
• In-depth expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem, as well as in architecture, platform design, and technical implementation.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist certification, e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, or comparable.
• Fundament knowledge in JavaScript, Glide API, and web services, such as REST and SOAP.
• Proficient in process modeling, process optimization, and translating professional requirements into technical solutions.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Experience with agile methods, e.g., Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of several ServiceNow areas, such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with platform implementation, data modeling, integrations, and IT service processes.
• The ability to address technical and strategic topics in a target-oriented manner up to C-level.

• Experience in pre-sales, solution design, RFPs, or bid processes.
• Enjoy leading teams, sharing knowledge, and developing consultants.
