Overview

As Principal Facilities Electrical Engineer, you act as the top technical authority for electrical power systems across Exentec’s global portfolio. You drive reliability, operational excellence, and technical innovation in mission-critical environments. You will guide international teams, resolve complex electrical challenges, and shape global engineering standards and practices. This role offers the chance to influence large-scale power infrastructure and collaborate across borders, delivering meaningful impact in high-stakes facilities.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Provide technical leadership for medium- and low-voltage distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and critical power infrastructure
Lead root cause analyses and reliability improvement programs to boost system availability
Develop and implement global engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
Support international sites as senior escalation resource for electrical incidents and complex issues
Advise customers and support business development with technical expertise
Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the global organization
Evaluate and implement innovative technologies in power systems, monitoring, digitalization, and predictive maintenance

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
Extensive experience in electrical power systems in mission-critical environments (semiconductor manufacturing, data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, or advanced manufacturing)
Strong expertise in MV/LV distribution, protection, UPS, generators, transformers, grounding, and power quality
Experience with power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or equivalent)
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel ~30–40% across Europe, mainly Germany and Austria
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex topics to diverse stakeholders
