Principal Engineer Technical Marketing (f/m/div)

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Driving the strategic technical direction of the product portfolio together with customers and internal application marketing teams, such as those focused on Solar, Megawatt Charging and Energy storage systems
• Aligning business priorities of new products with the internal product marketing team
• Working in close cooperation with Research & Development as the central interface between marketing and the customer-specific product development team to successfully launch new products
• Supporting the verification of innovative product ideas through application-related product tests
• Conducting simulations and calculations of the electrical and thermal power module performance under customer-related application conditions
• Responsibility for supporting technical “Go 2 Market” activities and providing technical customer support at the product level
• Publishing new products or technology features, for example, by giving trainings, creating papers, presenting at conferences, or developing other collateral materials, and sharing internal know‑how within Infineon

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in electronics, physics, or a comparable field
• A strong interest in power electronics and semiconductors, with at least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in R&D, technical marketing, or a similar department
• The ability to act as a product strategist who can shape future product roadmaps to meet future business demands
• High communication skills, an open mindset, and the ability to establish and maintain professional networks with internal and external partners
• A talent for organization and the tracking of development project status
• A general willingness to travel worldwide to support customers, as well as the Sales and Field Application Engineering teams in different regions
• Proficiency in English, German skills are an additional advantage
