Principal Finance Transformation & Systems (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

This role is responsible for the development, standardization, and governance of finance processes and the finance systems landscape at group level. The objective is to ensure a scalable, consistent, and audit-compliant finance framework across all entities. Responsibility for operational finance activities remains within the respective functions (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A).

Your Role in Our Space Mission

Financial Processes & Operating Model

• Further development and standardization of group‑wide finance processes
• Definition of end‑to‑end process structures (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R)
• Ensuring consistent process standards across all entities

Finance Systems

• Responsibility for the development of the finance systems landscape (ERP and subsystems)
• Support and coordination of system implementations, enhancements, and integrations
• Ensuring consistent data structures and system logic

Governance & Controls

• Definition of process standards and control requirements in alignment with all finance functions
• Support in ensuring audit and compliance requirementsiblity>
• Documentation of processes and system logic

Integration & Scalability

• Support in integrating new entities into existing finance structures
• Ensuring system and process readiness in a growing, international environment

Qualification Checklist

• Several years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or process management
• Experience with ERP systems and finance processes
• Experience in international environments
• Solid understanding of accounting, tax, treasury, and FP&A processes
• Experience in cross‑functional collaboration
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness to work regularly on‑site in Ottobrunn
