We are partnering with a leading international private equity investor with an established presence across Europe and a long-standing track record of partnering with founder-led businesses. The firm focuses on investing in high-quality lower mid-market companies, supporting management teams to accelerate growth and create long-term value.

As part of its continued expansion, the firm is looking to strengthen its investment team in Munich. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative team, working alongside experienced investment professionals on attractive transactions across the DACH region and wider Europe.

What the job involves

• Play an active role across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, evaluation, structuring, execution and portfolio management
• Support the execution of investments across the DACH region and broader European markets
• Build detailed financial models, perform commercial analysis and coordinate due diligence processes
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations and transaction documentation
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams to support strategic and operational value creation initiatives
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals on fundraising, investor relations and market research where appropriate

Who we are looking for

• Experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking, transaction advisory or another relevant investment environment
• Demonstrable transaction experience with strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
• Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to analyse complex investment opportunities
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Outstanding academic credentials from a leading university
• Fluency in both German and English is essential
• An entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic and a genuine passion for investing
