Process und Maintenance Engineer Wafertest Probecards (w/m/div)

Job Reference: REF T – Full‑time, permanent position at Robert Bosch GmbH, located in Dresden.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring functionality and quality of the critical interface between wafer and tester essential for smooth wafer testing in semiconductor production.
• Technically executing inspection and repair tasks on Probecards and associated assemblies for electrical contact in the test area, including precise handling of fine contact pins and complex traces.
• Independently locating faults and repairing simple defects in the electrical, electronic and mechanical components of Probecards.
• Analyzing use parameters of Probecards and developing improvement proposals to continuously increase lifespan and performance.
• Collaborating closely with Probecard, process and manufacturing engineers to resolve problems and advance contact technologies for wafer testing.
• Maintaining meticulous and transparent documentation of work in relevant systems to ensure traceability and quality assurance, covering repair histories, inspection results and optimization suggestions.
• Working within a 6:4 shift model: 6 working days (2 early, 2 late, 2 night shifts) followed by 4 days off.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., electrician, mechatronics) – a technician or master title is desirable.
• Experience with precision technology or micromechanics is advantageous.
• Enjoyment of practical work and passion for technical challenges.
• High quality and responsibility awareness, strong concentration, excellent fine motor skills and spatial perception, especially when using a microscope.
• Independent, dedicated and goal‑oriented work style with high commitment; precision and accuracy are essential.
