Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)

Join our indirect procurement team to support R&D and functional units in sourcing and supplier management for next-generation automotive projects. You will expand the local supplier and cost database, lead sourcing and price negotiations, and act as the procurement interface for stakeholders. This role blends data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic cost reduction in an international environment. You’ll work on innovative projects and drive compliant procurement processes.

• Collaborate with R&D and functional departments to capture supplier requirements
• Search for and develop local suppliers; expand supplier and cost database
• Collaborate with suppliers and R&D units on innovative automotive projects
• Act as procurement interface and first escalation point for supplier issues
• Develop local sourcing strategy and lead strategic cost reduction projects
• Lead sourcing projects and price negotiations with suppliers
• Operate procurement systems and ensure compliant ordering
• Benchmark best practices and innovations across the industry
• Coordinate invoice handling with Finance
• Perform other procurement-related tasks

• University degree with business or technical focus or comparable qualification
• 1+ years of purchasing experience; automotive industry experience is a plus
• Ability to collect and analyze data efficiently
• Good German and English skills; Chinese is a plus
• Affinity to technology and innovation; ability to grasp complex technical issues
• Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Project management and teamwork skills; ability to work in an international team
