Doctoralia (now Docplanner) has been empowering patients and doctors for 12 years. We help doctors manage bookings, give patients a place to share reviews, and are building an AI‑powered operating system for healthcare. With 300,000 doctors across 13 markets and 20 million appointments per month, our goal is to make the practice run itself so doctors can focus on patient care.

Opportunity

A doctor told us: “I used to see 13 patients a day and felt exhausted. Now I see 20 without feeling tired.” Another: “I forget the tool is even on. I just focus on my patient.”

We’re building a clinic that runs itself. Our current markets offer a potential reach of five million doctors.

We’re looking for a design leader who will shape that future—creating the products and experiences that help doctors run their practices and deliver better care.

The role

You’ll lead design across the full experience of doctors and clinics on Docplanner: the practice management tools, the AI layer, and how they discover and grow on our platform.

You’ll hire and shape your own team from the ground up and work as a true peer with engineering and product leadership.

You’ll spend real time with users to uncover what they can’t articulate and turn it into simple, invisible work.

Those using what you build chose medicine, not software, and they should never feel the difference.

What we’re looking for

• You start from the problem, not the pixels. You can tell the difference between a finished screen and an experience that works, and you care more about the second.
• You lead through the work, not from a distance. You raise solution quality through critique, product judgment, strong examples, and a deep understanding of what good design looks like.
• You prove it with users. You show evidence from real users rather than relying on your own taste.
• You think in behavior, not just interfaces. You design around real human psychology and are energized by AI reshaping interaction.
• You’ve led design for a real product. You own a significant product area end‑to‑end.
• You’ve grown designers and raised the bar for the function. You coach, set high standards, and leave teams better than you found them.
• You can show impact, not just artifacts. You point to real problem‑solving and measurable change.
• AI is part of how you work. It’s a tool you use, prototype, and lead with, not something you’re undecided about.
