Engineered to Protect, that's our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world.
As Product Director, you will establish Product Management as a core business function across SEA. This critical role, reporting to the Managing Director and a member of the SLT, will help ensure that customer needs, market opportunities and business priorities are connected through a clear product strategy, robust product roadmaps and effective product lifecycle management. The introduction of this function represents an exciting step in SEA's growth. The introduction of a Product Management function will support the strengthening of SEA's ability to deliver the right products, at the right time, for the right markets, while creating long-term value for our customers.
The Product Director can be based at any of our three sites, Barnstaple, Bristol or Beckington, with a mix of on-site and home working.
The salary for this role is up to 130k, depending on experience.

Our systems support an ever-growing number of navies across the world, and we continue to bolster our already specialist, on-the-ground knowledge of key overseas markets.
At our core, we encourage innovation, flexibility and out-of-the-box thinking to solve problems, so we're always looking for talented, flexible, and creative people to bring their best to SEA. In return we offer generous rewards, a fantastic work/life balance, and excellent career and training opportunities for everyone who joins. Have a look at the benefits we offer:
You'll bring significant senior product leadership experience in a technology, engineering, software, manufacturing or related environment, ideally with strong defence, or other comparable industry, exposure. You will combine strategic leadership, commercial acumen and financial understanding with the ability to influence senior, executive and board-level stakeholders.
You will help deliver success through aligned product strategy, commercial growth, customer satisfaction, effective lifecycle management, innovation, employee engagement and strong confidence from the Managing Director and senior leadership team.
