Product Manager for Central Power Systems and Monitoring Solutions (m/f/d)

As the Product Manager for Emergency Lighting – Central Battery Systems and Monitoring Solutions, you will drive the growth and success of Eaton’s Life Safety portfolio. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams to develop and launch products aligned with the business strategy and customer needs.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a global strategic direction for the assigned portfolio of products.
• Align the strategic direction with Eaton’s overall business direction and support the company’s growth ambitions.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, from development to obsolescence and aftermarket support.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to drive NPI development through Eaton’s PROLaunch process.
• Assist and validate sales strategy in all countries for NPIs, targeting margin improvement by emphasizing USPs.
• Train and develop key stakeholders within the organization and external customers/partners.
• Conduct periodic VOC (Voice of Customer) sessions to internal and external audiences to discover market trends and user experience.
• Monitor competition and technology, benchmark against new products, solutions and services, and stay informed about emerging standards.
• Work with certification teams to influence and anticipate product standards.
• Support the sales team for specific project requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Skills

• Comprehensive experience in a similar position.
• Experience in commercial and/or project management roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Intercultural awareness – customer and business relations.
• Digital mindset.
• Business level proficiency in English.
