Product Manager, Search Ranking

As Ranking Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and roadmap for search ranking on eBay. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, applied research, and analytics teams to improve search experiences and drive revenue growth. You will base decisions on data, manage cross‑team coordination, and run experiments to identify impactful improvements. • Define ranking strategy and own the search ranking roadmap
• Prioritize features using data-driven methods balancing near-term and long-term work
• Communicate strategies and trade-offs to executives and development teams
• Identify market-specific algorithm improvements to address locale needs
• Foster cross-team alignment to solve customer problems
• Manage A/B testing to validate launch candidates and improve metrics

• 5+ years of product management experience
• Experience with customer-focused platform products for marketplaces
• Strong data-driven approach with use of multiple data sources (market research, A/B tests, user research)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technically savvy; background in CS or related technical role
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred
