Product Manager / Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager for Li-ion battery development, you drive international projects from intake to series support, coordinating customer needs, risk, and changes. You will liaise between development centers in China and production worldwide, ensuring clear communication across internal and external teams. You’ll contribute to tool and process improvements in technical project management, supporting a mission to advance electrified transportation. This role offers cross‑site collaboration and meaningful impact in a fast‑growing green energy company.

• Project management and technical support of Li-ion battery development projects from acquisition to series support for international customers
• Coordinate and steer analysis of customer requirements, as well as risk and change management
• Regularly monitor project progress in close coordination with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Clarify technical details with customers as interface to the development center in China and production worldwide
• Ensure transparent communication between internal and external departments
• Cross-site reporting to the overall project manager
• Participate in the development of tools, methods, and processes in technical project management

• Completed studies in chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Relevant experience as a project manager in chemical and/or automotive industries; electromobility/battery development experience desirable
• In-depth experience with project management tools
• Experience in technical details about cell and battery designs / simulation
• Strong teamwork, confident appearance, and excellent communication skills
• Structured and independent way of working
• Good user knowledge of MS Office; MS-Project or comparable schedulers
• Empathetic, sociable team player, capable of cross‑functional and cross‑geography collaboration
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with target‑driven, independent work style
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent in English and German (Chinese a plus)
