Product Marketing Manager (12 months FTC), Amazon Payments

This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months, role available in Munich.

Amazon is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (m/f) to own channel optimization and expansion roadmap of our Credit products.

Key job responsibilities

As an effective communicator with key stakeholders across multiple internal teams, you are expected to think strategically, generating bold and innovative ideas, and execute flawlessly, launching and optimizing campaigns end‑to‑end through various merchandising tools and channels, analyzing traffic data and solving problems. You bring enthusiasm for the payment experience and creativity to challenge our way of thinking. You are an experienced Product or Marketing Manager, and you are a storyteller who can position our product and features to our broad customer base.

About the team

Amazon Payment Products creates and manages a global portfolio of products, including co‑branded credit cards, installment financing, and gift cards. It is a fast‑growing business unit with the mission to delight Amazon customers by building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued and easy to use from anywhere in any way.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in marketing
• Experience using MS Office, especially MS Excel for data analysis and pivot tables
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience in English and German writing and editing with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style
• Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
• Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
