Product Owner Hardware Component Responsible - Munich Electrification

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the product roadmap for hardware components, focusing on electronic control units for electric vehicles and storage systems.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into detailed technical requirements for hardware development teams.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prioritize features and backlog items based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Ensure the successful launch and lifecycle management of hardware products.
• Act as the primary point of contact for hardware component-related decisions and communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role, preferably in hardware development.
• Strong understanding of electronics and hardware development processes.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with the automotive or energy storage industries is a plus.
