Product Owner (m/w/d) HMI

As Product Owner for HMI at Thales in Ditzingen, you define and prioritize the backlog to deliver valuable HMI software. You align with stakeholders on roadmap priorities and manage feature requests and bug tracking to support releases. You shape development strategy with the team, including architecture, testing concepts, and acceptance criteria, while providing milestone plans and cost estimates. You champion sustainable product software and contribute to new development offers.

• Write user stories for the backlog and align priorities with stakeholders
• Track feature requests and bugs and link them to user stories; create release descriptions
• Define development strategy with team on architecture, test concept, and acceptance criteria
• Provide milestone plans for development projects with cost estimates
• Own cost tracking and influence budget for software initiatives
• Champion the vision of sustainable product software
• Support cost estimates for new development offers

• Completed technical studies or higher in a relevant field
• 10+ years in SW engineering with at least 2 years in SW architecture
• Several years of experience in software development
• Strong architectural skills
• Experience with agile methods (e.g., Scrum)
• Team player with effective communication
• Ability to deal with complex systems
• Fluency in German and English
