Product Sales Manager Process Filtration & Chemical Products Central Europe (m/f/d)

Are you an energetic and results-oriented Sales Person who wants to move our customers’ performance forward?

We are now looking for an experienced sales professional to join the team in Valmet Filtration Technology unit that manufactures filter fabrics for demanding process conditions.

With over 50 years’ experience in mining and chemical filtration, Valmet offers the most extensive range of high-quality filter fabrics on the market as well as technical support for optimal performance.

Our filtration technology covers both wet and dry filtration products as well as ironer felts.

Our filtration products are used in the chemical and mining sectors, for the pulp, fiber, board and paper industries, as well as for energy production, waste processing plants, and the food manufacturing industry.

The position can be located in any Austrian, German or Polish Valmet location or fully remote in case no office is near by.

To succeed in this role, you must have passion for sales and sense of market in order to recognize the potential business opportunities. You are a self-driven team player with strong networking skills and ready to take independent decisions.

As Product Sales Manager your main responsibilities include:

• Sales responsibility of process filtration & chemical products in Central Europe.
• Own sales area budget and sales responsibility
• To provide market information of our competitors and own products performance to our global product managers.
• To travel and visit own customers frequently in order to maintain good customer relations.
• Actively developing own sales area and looking for new business opportunities.
• To provide data and information from the market on regular basis by utilizing our internal Compass and other tools.
• Close and active co-operation with our global product managers, R&D, production planning and production teams.
• To maintain sales forecasts together with global product managers and production planning.

What We Expect

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ of sales experience in international market
• Experience of filtration fabrics is a big benefit
• Knowledge of process filtration and chemistry industry, mining or equal is big advantage
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English and German is mandatory.
• Any additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel mainly in Middle - Europe (50-70% yearly).
