Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Product Security Architect to join our Aircraft & Systems Security Team within the engineering organization in Manching, Germany.

Overview

At Aircraft & Systems Security we protect Airbus Defence and Space products against deliberate malicious acts during the entire product lifecycle. This team is responsible for Product Security Governance and performs technical activities such as compiling security concepts and architecture, performing risk assessments, and setting up appropriate requirements.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Decompose the high-level security design into low-level detailed security designs for each sub-system or component.
• Conduct security risk assessments on the products (including threat and vulnerability assessment).
• Implement harmonized common security processes and standards as the baseline for the products.
• Actively support formal compliance processes (security evaluation, certification and accreditation processes) in accordance with the applicable criteria and methodologies as well as national processes (e.g., A‑960/1, ED‑203A, ISO27K series, NIST).
• Contribute to the definition, development and deployment of security governance aspects and the operating procedures and requirements to ensure security maintenance throughout the lifecycle.
• Compile documentation to support product certification and accreditation.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in Information Security and/or Aircraft System design and development.
• Knowledge of Security Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation Processes.
• Advanced level of English and German with the ability to write clear and consumable security documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in international teams.

Additional Information

This position will require a security clearance or to be eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
