Product System Design (f/m/d)

In this role you apply systems engineering to design, integrate and verify gas turbine product systems. You will manage interfaces, translate requirements into robust sub-systems, and lead problem resolution across the product lifecycle. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to plan design changes and ensure technical approvals, contributing to safe, reliable product delivery. This position offers the chance to influence complex systems and collaborate across disciplines.

• Apply understanding of gas turbine product operation and system interactions
• Integrate and manage interfaces between sub-systems
• Design systems using Systems Engineering principles and robust design techniques
• Lead root cause investigations and manage problem resolution activities (e.g., SARs, MQIs, DARs)
• Flow and manage system-level requirements; plan product changes and technical approvals
• Verify system conformance to requirements and contribute to standardisation reports
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including remote collaboration
• Communicate with and influence stakeholders across all levels, including customers

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (minimum)
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design and cross-discipline concepts (manufacturing, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal/mechanical analysis, cost engineering, product definition)
• Ability to apply analytical, logical and innovative thinking to technical problems
• Knowledge of product integrity/liability and certification frameworks
• Membership of a relevant professional body; Chartered status preferred in the UK
