Production controller (m/f/d)

We are seeking to expand our production logistics team in Kassel! Our client is looking for a highly organized Production Controller / Production Planning Specialist (m/f/d) for an immediate start. In this key position, you will ensure optimal material and production flow. This position at the Kassel location is initially limited to 24 months as part of a project (HÜD) and offers attractive compensation according to the IG Metall ERA collective agreement.

Responsibilities

Order processing & system maintenance: Checking the feasibility of customer orders and their system integration and maintenance in the SAP system. Production planning & control: Efficient scheduling, scheduling, and monitoring of production orders to optimize production capacity. Material & inventory management: Targeted management and prioritization of individual materials, as well as continuous reporting of missing parts. Order release: Independent release of production orders, including conducting thorough material and resource availability checks. Process monitoring: Monitoring the entire production process, including status tracking and initiating corrective actions in case of deviations. Interface communication: Close scheduling and coordination with adjacent departments such as project management, sales, and materials planning. Capacity planning & logistics: Proactive capacity planning for individual projects and ensuring on-time product delivery.

Qualifications

• Ausbildung: Erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische oder technische Berufsausbildung; eine Weiterbildung zum Meister (m/w/d) oder Techniker (m/w/d) ist von Vorteil.
• Berufserfahrung: Erste fundierte Praxiserfahrung in der Fertigungssteuerung oder Produktionsplanung eines Industrieunternehmens.
• IT-Kompetenz: Sehr gute und sichere SAP-Kenntnisse, idealerweise mit tiefergehendem Know-how in den Modulen PP (Production Planning) und CS (Customer Service).
• Methodenkompetenz: REFA-Kenntnisse sind wünschenswert, um Prozesse optimal zu bewerten.
• Sprachkenntnisse: Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift für eine reibungslose Dokumentation und Kommunikation.
• Persönlichkeit: Eine kommunikationsstarke und teamfähige Persönlichkeit, die sich durch ein gesundes Durchsetzungsvermögen, Organisationsgeschick und eine lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise auszeichnet.
