Production Manager - Cans

• You take operational and personnel responsibility for the can filling area, currently comprising five filling lines across two sites


• You lead and develop a team of approximately 60 employees as well as your direct line managers


• You ensure stable and high-performing production in a three-shift operation


• You are accountable for meeting targets related to output, quality, cost, efficiency and delivery reliability


• You ensure production and staffing planning is coordinated across sites


• You further develop the leadership structure within your area and ensure clear responsibilities, expectations and communication channels

Requirements

• Several years of production experience, ideally within the food industry


• Proven multi-year experience leading production or shift teams


• Deep understanding of production processes, KPIs and efficiency improvement


• Extensive knowledge of quality and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, IFS)


• Experience working with production systems and common MS tools


• Hands‑on approach, decisive and strong communication skills


• Strong team player


• Able to remain calm and maintain an overview in stressful situations


• Structured and solution‑oriented working style
