Production Manager

We’re hiring a Production Manager to lead and transform an assembly-based manufacturing operation within a growing life sciences company. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to shape how production operates.

The Opportunity

You’ll step into a business with strong products, a solid market position, and clear growth plans — but where production is only part-way through its lean journey.

That’s where you come in.

Lean principles are in motion, but there’s significant headroom to improve flow, efficiency, and structure. You’ll have the mandate to build this properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead a 10-person assembly team (supported by process engineers)
• Own production KPIs: output, productivity, and quality
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives (standard work, flow, production cells)
• Improve and stabilise production processes
• Take ownership of production-related material flow and logistics
• Build a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor

This is a hands-on role — you’ll be close to the operation, not sitting behind a desk.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a Production / Manufacturing leadership role
• Proven, practical experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Background in assembly environments (electronics, precision, medical devices, etc.)
• Strong presence — someone who can lead from the front and gain team respect
• Fluent German language skills and comfortable working in a German-speaking environment
• Comfortable owning KPIs and driving performance
