Production Manager, Special-Purpose Machinery Manufacturing (m/f/d)

We are looking for a candidate to join an innovative technology company in the custom machinery and plant engineering sector in the Bad Oeynhausen area as soon as possible. The position is for a Production Manager, Special-Purpose Machinery Manufacturing (m/f/d).

• Operational management and further development of manufacturing, assembly, and final acceptance of technical systems
• Planning and coordination of personnel, materials, and schedules to ensure efficient production
• Leadership, motivation, and professional development of a qualified production team
• Close collaboration with design, development, and service
• Support for assembly and commissioning projects at the plant and, occasionally, on-site at the customer’s location
• Analysis and resolution of technical challenges in the production environment
• Ensuring quality standards and compliance with occupational safety regulations

What you should bring

• Technical training with further education leading to a master craftsman/technician certification, or a technical degree
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or special-purpose machine construction
• Demonstrable leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical understanding and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Proficiency in working with technical drawings and operational metrics
• A hands-on approach, team spirit, and willingness to travel
