Production Planning Manager (Manufacturing)

We are seeking you for a permanent, direct-hire position with our client, a startup specializing in high-tech hardware and software development for military aviation technology. You will be based in Munich as Manufacturing Operations Manager (m/f/d) working full-time (40 hours).
Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, maximize efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery.
Optimize production workflows, assembly processes, and floor organization to improve scalability and operational performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste, downtime, and bottlenecks.
Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve throughput, quality, and resource utilization.
Lead and develop production teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure smooth production execution and standardized manufacturing processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and production process optimization.
Strong leadership experience managing production teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of production planning, assembly line optimization, manufacturing scalability, and OSH safety standards.
Fluent in German and English; experience in electronics, aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing is a strong advantage.
