Production Technician

We are working with a technology start-up developing advanced, high‑precision hardware systems designed for challenging, real‑world environments.

They are looking for a hands‑on Mechatronics Technician to take ownership of prototyping, fabrication, and system integration, turning designs into working hardware.

The Role

This is a practical, workshop‑focused position where you will:

• Machine and modify parts using manual and CNC equipment
• Run 3D printing workflows from setup to post‑processing.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication for structural assemblies
• Assemble mechanical, optical, and electro‑mechanical systems

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands‑on experience in machining, fabrication, or mechanical build work
• Confident reading and working from technical drawings
• Experience with CNC, welding, or additive manufacturing processes
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Practical problem‑solver who enjoys working directly with hardware

Nice to Have

• Experience with laser or optical systems
• Knowledge of composites or sheet metal work
• Exposure to ruggedised or high‑precision assemblies
