Project Management Assistant (gn)

Stellenbeschreibung:

The Project Management Assistant (gn) will be working in EUAA’s operational environment at BAMF’s premises in Nuremberg .

He/she will be responsible for supporting BAMF in the following tasks, under the coordination and supervision of the EUAA Measure Coordinator :

Tasks:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, plans, schedules, and records
  • Collect and compile project-related information and data from stakeholders and project teams
  • Assist in maintaining project plans, project-related registers, milestone trackers, and other project tools , ensuring information is up to date and accurately recorded
  • Support the preparation of regular and ad-hoc project reports, presentations, and status updates
  • Support the implementation of project monitoring, reporting, and change management activities , including by collecting feedback and tracking communication activities
  • Assist in compiling information to support process improvement initiatives
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for stakeholder activities, meetings, and workshops; coordinate appointments and scheduling
  • Draft project-related documents , including correspondence, protocols, meeting notes, minutes, and other project-related documents as required
  • Perform any other relevant duties required in the interest of the service

Preferred qualifications:

  • Post-secondary or secondary education , attested by a diploma, related to Project Management , Public Administration , Public Management , Business Administration , Communications , Administrative or Business Informatics , Digital or IT Management , Law , Social Sciences , International Relations , or another relevant field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in project support , project administration/management , or another relevant role
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Excellent written and spoken German language skills
  • Very good English language skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to organize and maintain accurate records
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Post-secondary education, training, or certification in Project Management is an advantage
  • Previous experience in the field of asylum and migration is an advantage
  • Previous experience within an institutional environment and/or an international organization is an advantage
  • Willingness to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SÜG)

  • Attractive average monthly gross salary of €3,961.92 (depending on hours worked on the assignment)
