Project Manager – Building Automation / BMS

Frankfurt, Germany (flexible location across Germany)

The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery , working closely with operations, service, sales, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role with exposure to large‑scale, high‑impact projects across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage building automation & technical building services projects across Germany
• Oversee project timelines, costs, risks, and documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and external partners
• Support solution design and technical proposals
• Ensure customer satisfaction and system availability
• Lead on‑site technical teams and support project execution
• Contribute to energy optimisation initiatives
• Deliver training and support customer‑facing technical discussions

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering / Electrical / Automation / Building Services
• Experience with:
  • BMS / BAS / MSR systems
  • HVAC controls / smart buildings/security systems
  • Fire & Security Systems
  • Electrical Building Services (M&E)
  • Smart Buildings / Digital Infrastructure
• Proven track record in technical project management
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control & P&L
• Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
• Familiarity with SAP and/or VOB/B (advantageous)
