Job Description

In order to support the Target Systems and Services, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Project Manager Targets Systems & Services (d/f/m).

At the Airbus site in Immenstaad.

Responsibilities

• Serve as responsible point of contact for multiple NATO customers
• Prepare calculations, proposals, and contracts for aerial target service campaigns
• Prepare, manage and execute international aerial target service campaigns at customer sites
• Ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of products and services
• Steer and develop new features and capabilities for new and existing customers
• Full management responsibility for several projects, from proposal stage through to successful completion
• Drive achievement of programme objectives (Profit & Loss, product quality, and delivery times)
• Support program area in resource optimization, conflict resolution, risk management, and opportunity capture
• Contribute to business planning and strategic development of programs/products
• Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and commit to act with integrity

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field
• Proven experience in project management
• Hands‑on mentality and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Intercultural competence
• Willingness to travel internationally several times a year for service campaigns
• English and German language skills on negotiation level

Preferred Qualifications

• Military background (e.g., naval weapon systems, Air Force)
• Experience in training or education development
• Technical understanding of weapon systems used for air defense
