Psychiatric Specialist, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Turku

Responsibilities

You will be part of multidisciplinary mental health and substance abuse unit teams in your area, supporting both the teams and primary care physicians. The work combines direct patient care and electronic consultation activities in the Turku region. You will primarily work at the Central Mental Health and Substance Abuse Unit, with some consultation work at the Pansion MIEPA unit. Some work can be done remotely. You will be part of a developing operation and engage in impactful expert work that combines clinical practice and consultative roles within primary mental health and substance abuse services. You can utilize your psychiatric expertise in various ways. The possibility of partial remote work offers flexibility in work and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Licensure under the Act on Healthcare Professionals 559/94 and rights as a specialist in a relevant field.
• Good oral and written Finnish language skills.
• Satisfactory oral and written Swedish language skills.
• Good Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
• Psychotherapy qualification is an advantage.
