About the Role

Ming Yang Europe is looking for a Public Relations & Public Affairs Manager to strengthen our growing European communications and advocacy activities.

This role is ideal for a candidate with around 2-3 years of relevant professional experience who is looking for an exciting international opportunity in the renewable energy sector.

Working closely with the Head of Public Relations & Public Affairs Europe, you will support Ming Yang's communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, digital channels, and event activities across European markets, contributing to the company's reputation and visibility in Europe.

The position offers broad exposure to strategic communications, advocacy, government relations, corporate positioning, conference and event coordination, and political and industry developments in a dynamic international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Ming Yang Europe's public relations and public affairs activities across European markets
• Assist with media relations, press outreach, media monitoring, and handling media inquiries
• Draft and coordinate communication materials, including: Press releases, website content, social media posts, messaging documents, briefings and presentations, corporate announcements
• Help manage Ming Yang Europe's digital communications and social media presence
• Monitor political, regulatory, and industry developments relevant to the renewable energy sector in Europe
• Support stakeholder engagement and advocacy activities with industry associations, governments, and external partners
• Coordinate and support conference participation, corporate events, and external engagements
• Assist in ensuring high-quality and consistent communication and marketing materials across the organization
• Support reputation management and strategic positioning initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies across Europe and internationally

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Journalism, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Approximately 2-3 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, public affairs, journalism, consulting, agency work, or a related field
• Strong interest in renewable energy, energy policy, and international business
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Additional languages are considered a strong advantage
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Confident, proactive, and comfortable working in an international environment
• Experience with social media, digital communications, and presentation creation is beneficial
