FinDev builds and modernizes quantitative and analytical platforms for the capital markets industry. Its applications support portfolio construction and optimization, retirement solutions, capital market forecasting, risk analytics, and institutional client analytics.

Задачи

• Design and build production-grade REST APIs in Python;
• Develop backend services and data pipelines for analytical workloads;
• Implement and integrate quantitative and mathematical models into production systems;
• Work with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, S3, and other data sources;
• Design and optimize data models and database schemas;
• Work with and gradually modernize an existing ecosystem of applications;
• Make system design decisions around scalability, reliability, and maintainability;
• Collaborate directly with quantitative specialists, engineers, and business stakeholders;
• Troubleshoot and improve production systems;
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.

Требования

• 7+ Years of backend development experience;
• Strong commercial experience with Python;
• Experience building production REST APIs;
• Strong database experience and understanding of data modeling;
• Experience with data-intensive backend systems or data pipelines;
• Good understanding of backend architecture and system design;
• Ability to work effectively with complex existing codebases;
• Interest in mathematics, analytics, and quantitative problems;
• Good spoken and written English;
• Nice to have: FastAPI, Django, or Tornado, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, and S3, NumPy or Pandas, AWS or other cloud platforms, distributed or asynchronous systems, Datadog, Komodor, or similar observability tools, experience with financial or analytical systems, capital markets or quantitative finance knowledge.
