Quality Assurance Specialist Defence (m/f/d)

In this role you will provide quality assurance support for defence projects across development and production, ensuring compliance and robust processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and audit products, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions. You will chair design deviation committees and oversee FAI activities to secure defence program quality. This position sits at MT Aerospace, contributing to European launcher programs and other international missions with advanced manufacturing and testing capabilities. You will work in a dynamic, international environment where your expertise directly supports high-stakes aerospace initiatives.

• Provide QA support for defence projects during development and production
• Carry out product acceptance tests/audits and compile acceptance documentation
• Handle QA tasks such as approvals and non-conformance reports
• Chair design deviation committees and assess deviations and damage analyses
• Initiate and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor internal and external processes to ensure product quality
• Prepare and review First Article Inspections (FAI)

• Several years of professional QA experience
• Experience in mechanical engineering; knowledge of pressure equipment desirable
• Knowledge of APQP tools
• Proficiency in quality methods (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / EN 9100; AQAP 2105 / 2110 advantageous
• Ability to facilitate meetings and work in a team
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented approach
• Proficiency in MS Office / SAP
• Good written and spoken English (minimum B1)
